2 Juveniles Shot in Robbinsdale Sunday Morning
Robbinsdale police are investigating a shooting that left two juveniles injured early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the 4200 block of 46th Avenue North at 12:43 a.m. after 911 callers reported hearing gunfire and later discovering two individuals had been shot.
Police arrived and found two juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers rendered emergency aid before the victims were transported by ambulance to North Memorial Health Hospital. One juvenile remains in critical condition, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted Robbinsdale officers in setting up a perimeter and searching the area with K9 units, but no suspects were located.
A person of interest was interviewed by detectives a short time later.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Crime Scene Investigators processed the scene and collected several pieces of evidence. No arrests have been made and authorities continue to investigate.
