Driver Dies, 2 Injured in Shepard Road Head-On Crash
A head-on collision early Sunday on Shepard Road in Saint Paul left one man dead and two others injured.
The Saint Paul Police Department reported that the crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Shepard Road.
A sedan collided head-on with a pickup truck, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.
The driver of the sedan, identified as Dylan James Severson, 18, of Fountain City, Wisconsin, was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman riding as a passenger in the sedan sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver of the pickup truck suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Regions Hospital.
Authorities have not released information on the cause of the crash, which remains under investigation. Police have not identified the individuals involved. No additional details have been provided at this time.
