Another victim was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen in a vehicle a short distance away. Initial information said that the two victims were exchanging gunfire before both were struck.

SPPD confirmed the homicide investigation late Thursday night and said in a media release early the next morning that no arrests have been made.

The man’s death is the 12th homicide of 2022 in Saint Paul.
