North Minneapolis Shooting Leaves One Dead
Minneapolis Police are investigating a homicide in North Minneapolis Tuesday evening.
Police were called just before 8:30 to a ShotSpotter activation in the 500 block of 49th Avenue North. While units were en route, they were notified of a crash on I 94 at 49th Avenue North. There, police found a vehicle that had crashed down onto I 94 from 49th Avenue North. The man inside had at least one gunshot wound. Officers initiated CPR before paramedics pronounced the man deceased.
Police say no suspect information was available Tuesday evening. The victim will be identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.
