The Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault with critical injuries that occurred around 4:40 a.m. Sunday in rural Ogilvie.

According to a media release from the sheriff’s office, two adult victims who lived at the residence were transported to Welia Hospital before being flown to trauma centers. Both are said to be in critical condition.

Police say a third individual is suspected of being responsible for the attack. That person was also critically injured and flown to a trauma center, but the nature of their injury is not yet confirmed.
