1 Hurt in Farmington Shooting; 2 Arrested

The man arrested in connection to a shooting in Farmington on Friday, March 21, is being held on several charges at the Dakota County Jail.

Gage Allan David Anderson was arrested around 1:30 p.m. after the shooting on the north side of Farmington just before 1 p.m. He’s being held on probable cause 1st-degree murder, 1st-degree assault, aggravated robbery and other charges.

Police said another person was arrested in connection to the incident but has not yet been identified.

Police were initially called to the area of 209th St. W. & Catalina Way around 12:50 p.m. after a man was reported to have pointed a gun at several people there.

A short time later and several blocks to the north, the victim was found inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries, police said.

According to family, the victim was still hospitalized as of Saturday afternoon.
