Private Jet Lands Without Nose Gear at MSP Airport
Rescue crews responded to an aircraft emergency Monday night at MSP Airport after a private jet experienced an in-flight nose gear failure.

Emergency crews were dispatched at 10:56 a.m. to the 6600 block of East River Road after reports of a crash involving an SUV and a sedan traveling southbound.
The Hawker 800XP jet—which was traveling from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie—was diverted to MSP after the pilots reported the issue around 10:20 p.m.
The crash occurred around 1:42 a.m. on Jan. 19 when the driver, operating a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was traveling westbound on I-94 approaching Mounds Boulevard when the vehicle veered off the road to the left while exiting.
Authorities say Kyle Stewart Vanwert, 39, was suspected of selling drugs, with active warrants for fleeing police in a motor vehicle and first-degree burglary in Hennepin County.
