A man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound early Friday morning in Duluth, police say.
The Duluth Police Department says officers were called around 12:25 a.m. to the 200 block of West 3rd Street after reports of a shooting.
Shortly after they arrived, police found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said they are still working to identify the man and the case remains in its early stages. It’s still an active and ongoing investigation as of publication.
Authorities are asking anyone who lives in the area to review their surveillance footage for anything unusual around the time of the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call the department’s Violent Crimes Unit at 218-730-5050.
