Two people were taken to hospitals early Sunday after a domestic incident at a Robbinsdale home left one man shot and another stabbed.
Officers were called to the 4200 block of Regent Avenue North around 2:50 a.m. on Oct. 19 after reports of an active disturbance.
When police arrived, they found two men who are related—ages 34 and 64—both injured.
According to police, the younger man had been cut with a straight-edged weapon, while the older man had suffered a gunshot wound. Paramedics brought one victim to Hennepin County Medical Center and the other to North Memorial Health Hospital. Both were reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.
Robbinsdale police said both men are being investigated for second-degree assault and other potential charges. The case remains under investigation, and the department plans to forward its findings to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for charging review.
