Four teenagers were shot late Friday night in Minneapolis, police say, and none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Fifth Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 300 block of W. Lake Street just before midnight.

Officers found a 16-year-old boy near the drive-thru of a Popeyes with at least one gunshot wound. Two 17-year-old boys with gunshot wounds were found inside a nearby building entrance.

All three were taken by ambulance to Hennepin Healthcare. A fourth victim, a 17-year-old boy, arrived at the hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary information from the Minneapolis Police Department indicates the four were exiting a business when gunfire erupted. The suspect reportedly fled the scene and no suspect information was released.

Officers secured the area and Minneapolis forensic scientists processed the scene and collected evidence. Investigators are working to determine what led to the shooting.

No arrests have been made as of publication.
