A Lauderdale man has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge in connection with a Mounds View crash that left a passenger critically injured.
Frank Lor, 26, entered a guilty plea Tuesday to one count of fourth-degree DWI for the crash.
The plea follows the May 30 crash on Highway 10 near Interstate 35W in Mounds View where authorities say Lor lost control of a sedan and struck a sound wall.

A passenger in the vehicle was found unconscious with significant head trauma and bleeding. She was transported to the hospital in critical condition and diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage and broken ribs.
At the scene, troopers reported signs of impairment. Lor provided a preliminary breath sample with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.155 and told officers he had been drinking earlier that evening.
He was originally charged with felony criminal vehicular operation causing great bodily harm, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Under the terms of the plea, that charge will be dismissed at sentencing. The misdemeanor DWI charge carries a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Lor was initially held on $150,000 bail. That amount was later reduced to $125,000 and posted in early June. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 3.
