A man was found dead early Sunday morning in Apple Valley and police are investigating the case as a possible homicide.
Around 3:12 a.m. on July 6, officers were called to the area of Pennock Avenue and 138th Street on a report of someone lying on the sidewalk.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the mans cause of death was multiple sharp force injuries and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
Authorities are asking residents in the neighborhood to check exterior surveillance footage from between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. for anything unusual. Anyone with relevant footage or information is asked to contact Apple Valley Police at 952-322-2323.
