1 Injured in Savage Shooting; Investigation Ongoing

Savage police say one person was injured in a shooting late Monday morning in the 13100 block of Independence Avenue.

Around 11:50 a.m. on Oct. 21, officers responded to reports of a shooting at the location. Police found a victim who was then transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have confirmed that there is no ongoing threat to the public. Investigators are asking anyone with video of the incident to call 952-882-2600.

The investigation is ongoing and no further details have been released.
