2 Injured in Stearns CoUNTY ATV Crash

Two people were hurt in an ATV crash about five miles east of St. Rosa

The crash happened around 8:40 p.m. Friday, April 3, in Krain Township. Two occupants were reportedly injured and trapped underneath the vehicle.

Deputies arrived and found an adult male driver and adult female passenger, both in their 60s, who were injured. The man was able to free himself and reportedly tried to free the woman using a skid loader.

Deputies were able to help remove the woman from underneath the vehicle and she was airlifted to the St. Cloud hospital. Authorities did not provide any details on the extent of her injuries. The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office said “driver impairment” was a factor in the crash and that investigation is continuing.
