In a press release, police say the 7-year veteran was following a vehicle that had fled from officers the day before and matched the description of a vehicle involved in a robbery. Saint Paul police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old boy early this morning on the 200 block of Stinson St. and a 14-year-old boy has been arrested. Officers were called just before 5 a.m. for a juvenile male who had been shot. When officers arrived, they located the 12-year-old who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
