2 Seriously Injured in Brooklyn Center Crash
Police say were dispatched to the report of the crash around 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Freeway Boulevard near Xerxes Avenue North. Upon arrival, officers located one vehicle with extensive damage and two victims suffering from extensive injuries outside of the vehicle.
Wrong-Way Driver Dies After Crashing into SUV on I-35E
A drunk driver who was wrong-way on I-35E early Saturday morning near Cliff Rd. in Eagan crashed head-on into a GMC Yukon, causing the closure of the southbound lanes of the interstate for hours. The driver who caused the crash, Nraughli Vang, 28, of South St. Paul, was under the influence of alcohol, the Patrol said. He had life-threatening injury and was taken to Regions Hospital, where he later died.
Fireworks Ignited Massive Apartment Blaze, Investigators Believe
Firefighters were first called to a report of a grass fire that had spread to some trees up against the apartment building. The fire then spread from the trees and into the attic space above the third floor apartments. Investigators say firework debris was found near where the fire started.
2 Different Plane Incidents in Anoka County Saturday
Two pilots were able to escape serious injury after separate aircraft incidents Saturday in Anoka County.The first incident happened in Blaine around 2 p.m. when a pilot flying a Cessna 172 aircraft began experiencing low oil pressure.

Driver Kills Five and Flees in South Minneapolis
Officials have confirmed that five people were killed in a crash Friday night near Lake St. and I-35W after a driver at a high rate of speed t-boned a vehicle at the intersection and fled on foot. Four adult female victims and one juvenile female victim inside the t-boned vehicle died at the scene, police say. An adult male suspect who is believed to have caused the crash was apprehended a short time later.
Man Sentenced for Fleeing Police, Crashing Head-On into Motorist
A Saint Paul man has been sentenced for fleeing police officers in Cottage Grove in a stolen vehicle before crashing head-on into another vehicle near McKnight Road and Interstate 94 in Saint Paul more than two years ago.
2 Dead After Overnight Head-On Crash in Oakdale
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2:24 a.m. Thursday after multiple 911 callers reported a Toyota Corolla traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-694 in Oakdale. MnDOT traffic cameras captured the wrong-way driver traveling southbound before crashing head-on into a Pontiac Vibe south of Stillwater Boulevard.

Man Charged After White Bear Lake Fire Injures 1
A man is charged with a felony after allegedly causing a fire at a White Bear Lake four-plex that critically injured a woman who was unable to escape the residence late Saturday night. 45-year-old Christian Thomas Dahm, of White Bear Lake, is charged with one felony count of negligent fires causing great bodily harm. The charge carries a possible sentence of up to five years in prison.
White Bear Lake Blaze Injures 1; Possibly Intentionally Set
Backup was requested for officers who were fighting with a possible suspect outside and a victim later rescued from the residence. Fire crews arrived and reported the structure was fully involved with heavy fire showing. Officers reported that a victim was trapped inside and fire command requested a second alarm to respond.

Jesse Lee Underleiter and Nicholas Todd Spangler were seen around 3:10 p.m. on June 22nd, near Bennett’s Chop and Railhouse at 1305 Seventh Street West after a criminal damage to property report. The two men were observed damaging a vehicle in the area.

The Ramsey County Attorney’s Office has filed attempted murder and assault charges against a man after he allegedly shot a White Bear Lake police officer on Tuesday evening.
Officer Shot in White Bear Lake; Suspect in Custody
A White Bear Lake police officer is recovering at the hospital after being shot while attempting to serve a warrant Tuesday night. The White Bear Lake Police Department said at approximately 10 p.m. on Jan. 24, officers attempted to make an arrest on the 3100 block of Karth Road. Shots were fired during the incident and a White Bear officer was struck by gunfire.
BODYCAM: Saint Paul Officer Fatally Shoots Armed Suspect
Authorities on Thursday released squad car and body-worn camera video from the fatal shooting of an armed suspect in Saint Paul earlier this week. The suspect—now identified as Howard P. Johnson, 24—can be seen armed with a gun and appears to fire at least one round before being shot by a responding SPPD officer.
Police Arrest 2 After Shooting Outside Richfield HS Homecoming Game
Police have announced the arrests of two juveniles they believe are related to a shooting Friday night just outside the Richfield High School homecoming football game. The sound of the gunfire was captured on a school district livestream of the football game, and showed fans and players inside Spartan Stadium running for cover. The game was called in the 4th quarter and the rest of homecoming weekend events canceled by administrators.

11 Displaced After Maplewood Townhome Fire
MAPLEWOOD—Firefighters responded to a structure fire in a townhome on the 2800 block of Southlawn Dr. just after 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. Crews arrived and encountered heavy fire in one unit of a three-unit townhome building and began working to extinguish the blaze. The fire ultimately affected all three units.
