One Dead, Six Others Injured In Minneapolis Shooting
Minneapolis Police say one man was killed and six other people were injured in a shooting on the 2200 block of 16th Ave. S. late Friday night.
Police were called to the residence around 10:15 p.m., and upon arriving found a large crowd gathered outside with multiple people shot.
Police say several adults were in a backyard when two suspects walked up the alley and began shooting before fleeing on foot. Officers found an adult male in his 30s with fatal injuries.
Police say six other people, all adults, also suffered gunshot wounds and were brought to local hospitals.
Police say the Hennepin County Medical Examiner will identify the deceased adult male and determine the cause of his death at a later time. Few other details have been released about the circumstances of the shooting as of Saturday afternoon.
