2 Men Killed, Woman Injured in South Minneapolis Shooting
Minneapolis police say two men are dead and a woman critically injured after they were found with gunshot wounds late Thursday night on the city’s south side.

MPD says that around 11:35 p.m., officers dispatched to the 2800 block of Colfax Ave. S. found a man with at least one fatal gunshot wound and a woman in her 30s with a potentially life-threatening gunshot wound seated inside a vehicle.
The man died at the scene and the woman was transported to the hospital. An update on her condition is not yet available.
A few minutes later, around 11:40 p.m., police were called to the 2800 block of Bryant Ave. S. for a report of a man who was down in the hallway of an apartment building. Officers found the man—reported to be in his late 20s—with several gunshot wounds. Police attempted life-saving measures, but the victim died at the scene.

The two men killed were identified by police as Khalil Amer Bryant and Davante Lavar-King Reid. They are the 7th and 8th homicides so far this year in Minneapolis.
Investigators believe all three victims were injured during a single incident on the 2800 block of Colfax Ave. S. MPD says that investigators continue working to determine who else may have been involved in the shooting and how each person is related.
