Cottage Grove Man Pleads Guilty in Bank Robbery Spree

A Cottage Grove man pleaded guilty Tuesday in connection to a metro bank robbery spree spanning three different locations.

Michael Thomas Prall, 43, is accused of using force, violence and intimidation to steal thousands of dollars from three separate banks in Nov. 2021.

Prall allegedly stole about $2,558 from a U.S. Bank in Bloomington on Nov. 5, 2021.

On Nov. 19, 2021, he’s accusing of pocketing $4,589 from a Bremer Bank in Woodbury.

And on Nov. 30, 2021, Prall made off with approximately $775 from a Wells Fargo bank in Cottage Grove.

Prall pleaded guilty to one count of bank robbery on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 and a sentencing date will be scheduled at a later time.
