The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation, which is standard protocol for in-custody death cases to ensure an independent review. The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office will also determine the man’s cause of death.
Officials have not released the man’s name or any additional details as of Tuesday afternoon. Further updates are expected from the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office as the investigation unfolds.
