Man Fatally Stabbed in Saint Paul's North End Neighborhood

SAINT PAUL—Police are investigating the city’s 20th homicide of the year after a man was found fatally stabbed in the North End neighborhood Monday.

Officers were called to an apartment building on the 100 block of Winnipeg Ave. just after 5:30 p.m. for a reported assault.

There they found a man believed to be in his 40s with a fatal stab wound.

Police have not released any suspect information or announced any arrests, but initial dispatch audio indicated two female suspects may have been involved. Police do not believe the stabbing was random.

The county medical examiner on Monday identified the man killed as Christopher S. Pryor, 41, of Minneapolis.
