SUBMITTED
A 64-year-old man was killed and a 17-year-old was critically injured in a head-on crash Monday night on Highway 65 in Isanti County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened just after 11 p.m. near 389th Avenue Northeast in Stanchfield Township, when a southbound Chrysler Town & Country crossed into the northbound lanes and collided with a Ford F-150.
Kenneth Michael Snyder, of Braham, was driving the Chrysler and was not wearing a seat belt. He died at the scene, authorities have confirmed. His vehicle’s airbags deployed and authorities noted there was no indication that alcohol played a role in the crash.
