Ramsey County Sheriff's Deputies Recover Body From Mississippi River
Ramsey County Sheriff’s Deputies recovered a body from the Mississippi River on Friday afternoon near Crosby Farm Regional Park.
At approximately 1:30 PM, deputies received a telephone call from a concerned citizen about a body that may be in the river in the area of the Watergate Marina and Crosby Farm Regional Park.
Deputies arrived and began searching the river. At approximately 2:00 PM, Deputies recovered an adult male from the Mississippi River. The Ramsey County Medical Examiners Office arrived on scene and took the body to determine the identity and cause of death of the individual.
The case remains under investigation and the identity of the male will be released at a later time.
