The gunshots started shortly before 6 p.m. near 6th Ave. S. & 11th St. S., and were witnessed by an EMS crew in the area, according to initial dispatch audio reviewed by MN CRIME.

Three of the victims were said to be already en route to the hospital, and officers found one gunshot victim nearby.

Police say preliminary information indicates an argument between multiple people in an alley resulted in an “exchange of gunfire,” and that the four injured were being treated at the hospital as of Wednesday night.

Police say the shooting scene has been secured and there is no ongoing threat to the public, but no suspect information was released and no arrests have yet been announced.

If you have any information, call 911.

Authorities say the four injured include three adult males aged 19-21 years of age and one 15-year-old male. All four victims were said to be in serious but stable condition as of late Wednesday.
