A suspect in a Wisconsin homicide last week has been arrested in Anoka County, authorities have confirmed.

An arrest warrant was issued Sunday in Polk County, Wisc. for Joseph Patrick Hadro, 44, following a homicide in the village of Osceola on Wednesday, March 9.

According to an Anoka County Jail roster update, Hadro was arrested on the warrant and was in custody as of Monday afternoon.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the news later Monday, thanking the Anoka County and Chisago County sheriff’s offices for their assistance in his apprehension.

The initial media release from Polk County authorities on the homicide said that officers and fire crews responded to a blaze at a trailer home in Osceola around 5:20 p.m. March 9.

Once the fire was extinguished, a male was located inside the trailer and deceased. That victim has now been identified as Scott Zitzow, 63, of Stacy, Minn.

Zitzow’s death has been ruled a homicide, authorities said.
