National Missing Persons Day recognizes the thousands of people reported missing or found unidentified across the United States each year.

The Mounds View Police Department says it received a missing person report on Haley Elizabeth Aymar on Dec. 29, 2015, after she hadn’t been heard from for weeks.

Just after midnight Thursday, at about 12:34 a.m., Albert Lea police were alerted to a vehicle traveling southbound on Interstate 35 that was believed to be associated with the active AMBER Alert.

Regina Diane Burton is charged with felony deprivation of custodial rights after authorities say she failed to return a 14-year-old boy who left his Minneapolis residence around 4 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2025, and never came back.

The BCA announced the page, Minnesota Alerts: Missing and Endangered, which will serve as a centralized platform for missing persons cases across the state.

Eliotte Heinz had last been seen around 3:22 a.m. Sunday walking south on the 500 block of Front Street South in downtown La Crosse.

The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office says the incident was reported just after 3:15 p.m. on July 19 near the sandy point of Long Point, north of Lake City.

Collins’ family reported him missing on May 8, and authorities said at the time that there had been no activity on his phone or social media accounts since that day.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager who hasn’t been seen since earlier this month in Columbia Heights.

Officers were called to a property in the 25000 block of County Road 74 on Saturday, April 26, after the landowner reported finding what appeared to be skeletal remains.

Authorities say a body believed to be that of a missing 60-year-old Cannon Falls man was recovered from the Cannon River Thursday afternoon.

Responding officers followed footprints in the snow leading into the woods but, as temperatures fell and darkness hindered visibility, additional resources were brought in.
