VIDEO: I-35W Rollover Crash in Minneapolis Kills Wisconsin Woman
A 50-year-old woman from Hammond, Wisc., was killed in a one-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 35W near Stinson Blvd. in Minneapolis on Monday, April 6.
The woman, who has not yet been identified by the Minnesota State Patrol, lost control of the 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada on the wet roadway just before 8 p.m.
The woman struck the guard right on the right side of the southbound lanes before the vehicle rolled and she was ejected. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers were conducting crash reconstruction at the scene near Stinson Blvd., with traffic there closed for several hours. A MN CRIME crew at the scene captured the heavily damaged Bravada with one of its rear passenger doors sheared off.
The State Patrol said that the woman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. No other injuries were reported.
