Man Dead After Saturday Morning Shooting in Saint Paul
Saint Paul police are investigating a homicide after a man was found fatally shot early this morning on the 2300 block of Chilcombe Ave., in the city’s Saint Anthony Park neighborhood.

Just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported that their neighbor had been shot and was in their front yard. Multiple 911 callers also reported hearing the gunfire.
Officers arrived on scene and found the victim down with multiple gunshot wounds. CPR was started and officers reported the man was unresponsive, per initial radio dispatches. Witnesses reported a possible suspect vehicle as a black or dark-colored, older-model sedan with dark tinted windows, last seen westbound toward Brompton St. after the shooting.

Officers secured the scene and called for Saint Paul Fire medics, who transported the victim to Hennepin County Medical Center. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
