Man Found Dead in Minnesota River in Savage

Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead in the Minnesota River in Savage Monday morning.

According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 10:25 a.m. to the 12000 block of Yosemite Avenue South, near the entrance to the port along the river.

When they arrived, they located the body of an adult man in the water.

Officials have not yet released the man’s name. The cause and manner of death remain under investigation.
