Woman Arrested in Fatal Columbia Heights Stabbing

 

A man died Saturday afternoon after being stabbed in Columbia Heights, police say, and a woman was arrested.

Around 3:51 p.m. on April 26, emergency responders were called to the 3800 block of Edgemoor Place Northeast after a distressed person requested an ambulance.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male with an apparent stab wound.

Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, the man was pronounced dead. An adult woman was taken into custody at the scene and booked into the Anoka County Jail pending formal charges.

The incident remains under investigation by the Columbia Heights Police Department, the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office. No further details have been released.
