The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a crash that left a motorcyclist dead Wednesday afternoon in Little Canada.

Authorities say the crash happened at about 3 p.m. on eastbound Highway 36 near Rice Street when a Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a stopped Hyundai Tucson.

According to the State Patrol, the Hyundai was stopped in the right lane due to traffic when the motorcycle, driven by 45-year-old Emilio Reyes Miller, of Roseville, struck the vehicle. Miller was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and authorities say alcohol was not involved.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and the passenger of the Hyundai, a 41-year-old female and a 44-year-old female, both of Roseville, were not injured.
