A woman serving a prison sentence in Shakopee has been charged after orchestrating a scheme to obtain public assistance funds.

A St. Paul substitute teacher has been charged with a felony after allegedly engaging in repeated sexual misconduct with a student over the course of nearly a year.

Nicholas John Price, 37, of Roseville, faces charges of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle resulting in death and criminal vehicular homicide.

Police say an adult male was injured following a shooting early this morning on St. Paul's East Side.
