1 Dead, Another Wounded in Brooklyn Park Shooting
Brooklyn Park police say one person is dead and another person seriously injured after a shooting on Brooklyn Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
Officers were called to the 8000 block of Brooklyn Boulevard at about 2 p.m. on December 7.
Police found two people suffering from gunshot wounds and began rendering aid. Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where one victim was later pronounced dead. The second victim remains in serious condition.
Authorities say the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. Detectives are actively investigating the case and have not announced any arrests.
