Police Find 4,000+ Fentanyl Pills During Search Warrant
The Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force says a search warrant executed Wednesday revealed 1,355 fentanyl pills, multiple guns, ammunition and over $18,000 in cash.

Officers executed the warrant on the 700 block of North 20th Avenue East in Duluth and took multiple suspects into custody. During the investigation, officers learned of a storage facility in Duluth and searched that unit as well. Officers recovered an additional 3,161 fentanyl pills.
Police say a toddler was home at the time and was found sleeping within a couple feet of a loaded handgun and numerous synthetic fentanyl pills. Saint Louis County Initial Intervention was called to assist with placing the child at a safe location.
Police say the suspects are being held on aggravated controlled substance crimes involving firearms.
