Just before 1 p.m., an officer reported a male driver crashed into a power pole near the marina and was walking away from the vehicle. A short time later, the man was reported to be suicidal and was "attacking" an officer on scene in the parking lot.

The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension have announced an arrest in the 2003 death of a newborn baby boy who was found in Lake Pepin in 2003.
