VIDEO: Police Investigating After White Bear Lake Shooting Injures One

White Bear Lake police detectives are investigating after a man was shot and critically injured late Monday night. Police and firefighters were called to the 3500 block of Emerald Drive just before midnight on a report of a gunshot victim. Officers arrived and determined that the victim was shot multiple times and was bleeding heavily.

Medics transported the victim to a trauma center to be treated for his injuries. A tourniquet had been applied by first responders, according to initial dispatch audio.

Police used a K9 to track in the area for a suspect and evidence, but there were no suspects were in custody as of early Tuesday morning. More information is expected to be released by the White Bear Lake Police Department as it becomes available.
