Deer Collision Results in Life-Threatening Injuries for Motorcyclist in Rush City

 

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after colliding with a deer in Rush City on Saturday evening.

The crash occurred around 7:27 p.m. on Sept. 28 near the intersection of Forest Boulevard and 480th Street. Authorities say the deer ran into the roadway, causing the motorcyclist to strike the animal before crashing.

The male driver was airlifted from the scene with life-threatening injuries. His identity has not yet been released.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
