Deer Collision Results in Life-Threatening Injuries for Motorcyclist in Rush City
A motorcyclist is in critical condition after colliding with a deer in Rush City on Saturday evening. The crash occurred around 7:27 p.m. on Sept. 28 near the intersection of Forest Boulevard and 480th Street.
Murder Charge Filed in Fatal Fish Lake Township Fire
A Wright County man has been charged with 2nd-degree murder and 1st-degree assault after allegedly setting a fire at a Chisago County home early Sunday that left a man dead and woman injured. According to the criminal complaint, officers were called to a residence on the 400 block of Cambridge Drive in Chisago County in response to a fire in progress around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
Man Dies After Rollover Crash in North Branch
The State Patrol responded to the crash around 11:30 a.m. Troopers say 37-year-old Bryan Adam Schreiner, of Lauderdale, was traveling southbound on Interstate 35 before driving onto the right shoulder, overcorrecting and sliding sideways before entering the median ditch, causing the vehicle to roll.
CHARGES: Man Rams Vehicle, Shoots at Home After Being Served Protection Order
Less than an hour after being served with an order for protection, 36-year-old Thomas Goodwin allegedly showed up wearing a bulletproof vest at a Chisago County home, rammed into a vehicle in the driveway and fired rounds from a rifle earlier this week.
