Man Arrested After Woman Found Dead Near Brainerd
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office says a man was arrested after a woman was found dead inside a residence on Smith Road in First Assessment, north of Brainerd on Thursday morning.

The victim--identified by authorities as Lynnie Ann Loucks, 43--was living with the suspect, who was arrested at the scene shortly after 8 a.m.
Authorities charged Michael Lowell Munger, 53, with 2nd-degree murder. Munger remains in custody at the Crow Wing County Jail.
According to a criminal complaint, Munger confessed to the crime, telling investigators he used a belt to strangle the victim and struck her with a baseball bat.
