Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Brooklyn Park Crash

A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries after crashing into a pickup truck in Brooklyn Park Thursday evening.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6:34 p.m. on westbound Highway 610 at Highway 252.
Both vehicles, a 2024 Harley Davidson Street Glide and a 2013 Toyota Tundra, were traveling in the same direction when the motorcyclist lost control on a curve and struck the rear of the pickup. Authorities reported that road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
The motorcyclist, 30-year-old Ryan Matthew Friedl, of Buffalo, Minn., suffered life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Toyota Tundra, 44-year-old Oleksandr Bak, of Otsego, was not injured.
Friedl was not wearing a helmet and the Minnesota State Patrol says alcohol was involved. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
