VIDEO: Oakdale House Fire Sparks 2nd-Alarm Response
Fire crews responded Monday evening to a large house fire on the 7500 block of Stillwater Boulevard North in Oakdale.
The call came in at 7:50 p.m., with arriving crews finding heavy fire throughout the home, forcing a defensive approach.
Due to the intensity of the flames, firefighters were unable to enter the structure.
Around 8:20 p.m., responders reported that live ammunition and propane tanks inside the home were igniting, further complicating firefighting efforts. A wall and portions of the roof were also reported to have collapsed.
A second alarm was called, bringing additional personnel and equipment from neighboring departments to assist.
No injuries have been reported, and all occupants of the home are believed to have escaped safely. Crews remained on the scene late Monday night, working to extinguish flare-ups and hotspots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
