When firefighters arrived, heavy fire was seen from the back of the house. Crews applied water on the fire and searched the home, but the flames had already spread from the second floor up into the walls, the third floor, and the attic.

Upon arrival, deputies found the home engulfed in flames. Fire crews worked to control the blaze and later discovered the two deceased individuals inside.

Deputies and firefighters were dispatched just before 7 a.m. to a home in the 3500 block of County Road 119 after a woman reported the house was on fire and that she couldn’t find her husband.

Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the second floor of the 2-1/2-story home and forced entry to search for the source of the smoke. Inside, they found heavy black smoke and a smoldering couch fire.

Fire crews responded Monday evening to a large house fire on the 7500 block of Stillwater Boulevard North in Oakdale.

Authorities say the call came in around 1:20 p.m., requesting officers check on the 71-year-old man after he sent text messages indicating self-harm to a friend.

Firefighters rescued two young children from a burning townhome in Vadnais Heights on Saturday evening, officials said.

Officers responded to reports from the homeowner, who was not at the residence but saw smoke through interior cameras. The only occupants inside the home were the two Australian Shepherds.

Crews rushed to the 10 block of Nelson Street in the Battle Creek neighborhood shortly before 3 a.m., following a 911 report of flames coming from a tuck-under garage, according to the Saint Paul Fire Department.

At around 11:26 a.m. Friday, first responders and multiple area fire departments were dispatched to the property after a passerby reported seeing the man lying at the end of a driveway, severely burned.

Maplewood firefighters and multiple assisting agencies battled a large residential fire Sunday morning that left the home uninhabitable, with external damage to a neighboring property.

Robbinsdale police say a 34-year-old man was taken into custody on Saturday evening after a house fire broke out shortly following his arrest. The incident occurred at 5:32 p.m. when officers responded to a report of an unwanted person refusing to leave a residence on the 3200 block of Halglo Place.

Emergency personnel were called to the report of the structure fire just after 1:15 p.m. Sunday on the 1400 block of Grant McMahan Boulevard in Morse Township, near Ely. 911 callers reported that the elderly homeowner was believed to still be inside.

The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office says criminal charges will be filed against a man accused of intentionally setting a house on fire, causing the death of a man and leaving a woman with severe burn injuries.

The Spring Lake Park – Blaine – Mounds View Fire Department responded to a structure fire Sunday just before 11 a.m. on a report of smoke showing from a residence on the 7000 block of Groveland Road. In a media release, SBM Chief Dan Retka says crews arrived and found fire on the main level of the home.  A neighbor reported to firefighters that the homeowner may still have been inside the home.
