A woman, later identified as the man’s wife, had suffered a deep stab wound to her chest and was found in the parking lot of the New Hope Police Department. Initially, she told authorities that she accidentally fell on the knife while cooking.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash Saturday evening in Plymouth. Authorities say the crash happened around 8:20 p.m. on eastbound Highway 55 near South Shore Dr.
