Possible suspects were reported to have fled in a black Dodge Charger. Police stopped a Charger near W. 31st St. & Pleasant Ave. shortly after, according to initial police dispatch audio, but authorities said early Sunday that there were no arrests yet made in connection to the shooting.

A male and female, who police called possible suspects, fled into a nearby residence after the shooting. They eventually surrendered around 2:30 p.m. after a SWAT team responded.

And just hours after the Uptown fatal shooting, a man was fatally stabbed aboard a city bus and died of his injury near Lagoon Ave. & Emerson Ave. S. around 2:10 a.m. Sunday, counted as the city’s 27th homicide. The suspect reportedly fled on foot and no arrests have been announced in relation.
