Three Shootings Leave at Least Five Injured in Minneapolis

Several shootings left at least five people injured in Minneapolis on Thursday, Oct. 14, including on the 800 block of Franklin Ave. E., where officers recovered dozens of bullet casings after three people were shot.

One of the victims reportedly had a wound to the forehead, one person was shot in the leg and another showed up at Methodist Hospital in Saint Louis Park with a bullet wound that police believe is related. Suspect and additional official information is limited.

In addition to the shooting on Franklin, Minneapolis police say one victim was shot on the 1800 block of Lowry Ave. N. around 9 p.m., and two people were shot outside the BP station at 2000 Third Ave. S. about 9:45.

The suspect vehicle in the shooting outside the BP was described as a silver Honda Civic with a pink Lyft sign last seen heading northbound. Call your local police department if you have any information.
