A Minneapolis man is now facing a range of felony charges including second-degree murder after a violent multi-county rampage earlier this week.

A Minneapolis man is facing multiple felony charges, including attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault, after allegedly shooting his neighbor amid ongoing harassment and threats.

Witnesses reported the suspect was traveling at approximately 100 mph when he sideswiped an SUV and struck a 2015 Jeep Cherokee, setting off a chain-reaction collision involving a total of seven vehicles.

A Saint Paul parolee faces charges after police say he fatally shot a woman, caused the death of her unborn child, then shot and carjacked another victim nearby.

According to a witness at the scene, a 76-year-old man driving a pickup eastbound on Biss Road appeared to drift off onto the southbound shoulder.

At the scene, they found a woman lying unconscious near the doorway, bleeding from her mouth and struggling to breathe. She later underwent surgery due to a head injury that caused severe brain swelling.

Authorities say Joshua Hoferman, 26, of Good Thunder, was under the influence of cannabis when the crash occurred June 8 about two miles north of Mankato in Lime Township.

A 32-year-old Saint Paul man is accused of causing a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 near Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis, leaving at least one passenger dead.

A suspect is in custody after a series of violent incidents that started in south Minneapolis and ended with two shootings and a carjacking in Kandiyohi County.

Around 4:39 p.m., demonstrators reportedly entered the administrative building on the East Bank, damaged property and stopped people from entering or exiting. Authorities asked those inside to leave the building and urged others to stay away.

Around 11:50 a.m. on Oct. 21, officers responded to reports of a shooting at the location. Police found a victim who was then transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

When officers arrived, they found the child inside the apartment and began providing emergency medical aid. The boy was rushed to Hennepin Healthcare, but despite lifesaving efforts, he did not survive.

Witnesses reported the victim was sitting at a card table, freestyle rapping, when Daniel Walker unexpectedly pulled out a black-and-purple handgun and shot him in the chest without provocation.

Despite the officer’s attempts at a traffic stop, Quintin Hudson accelerated, eventually reaching speeds between 70 and 90 mph through residential areas. He ran multiple stop signs, culminating in a high-speed collision with a minivan.

The incident occurred outside an apartment complex on Osborne Road NE in Fridley when the victim was engaged in a heated argument with the suspect’s sister near the building,

Dispatch received the first reports around 2:40 p.m. about the crash, south of the intersection of 433rd Avenue and 310th Street, about a mile west of Elrosa, Minn.

Police say around 3:52 a.m. near the 3200 block of Girard Avenue North, officers responding to the call found a white Ford Taurus overturned. A man, found lying near the vehicle, had life-threatening injuries.

In addition to the prison sentence, Mohamed Jama Ismail, 51, will serve three years of supervised release and was ordered to pay $47,920,514 in restitution, along with his co-defendants.

Just before 6 a.m. on Oct. 19, Fourth Precinct officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 1700 block of 26th Avenue North. While en route, the call was updated to a shooting.

Around 9 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Sycamore Street East following reports of multiple gunshots and a male fleeing an apartment building. When they entered the apartment, officers found a woman with gunshot wounds.
