2 Different Plane Incidents in Anoka County Saturday
Two pilots were able to escape serious injury after separate aircraft incidents Saturday in Anoka County.The first incident happened in Blaine around 2 p.m. when a pilot flying a Cessna 172 aircraft began experiencing low oil pressure.

The box truck driver crashes into the overpass bridge divider, nearly tumbling to the interstate below. A ball of flames erupts from underneath the truck, quickly engulfing the front of the vehicle.
Firefighters Battle Frigid Cold During 3-Alarm Fire at Blaine Fleet Farm
More than 50 firefighters responded to a large fire at Mills Fleet Farm in Blaine shortly after 11:30 a.m. Thursday. While crews responded, they reported a very large column of black smoke filling the air. Upon arrival, crews found a fast-moving fire containing palletized fertilizer, patio furniture, deer stands and other combustibles with flames reaching 50 feet high.
18-year-old Sentenced to 20 Years for Blaine Teen's 2021 Killing
Isaiah Harold-Stephaun Holmes, now 18, has been sentenced to a total of 240 months following the murder of 15-year-old Anthony Joseph Rouse, of Blaine, in July of 2021. Holmes was 17 at the time of the shooting and was initially charged with five felonies including 2nd-degree murder, 1st-degree assault and 1st-degree attempted aggravated robbery.
