2 Injured as Plane Crashes at Shakopee Park
Authorities are investigating after a small plane crashed at Scenic Heights Park in Shakopee early Friday afternoon, leaving two occupants injured. Emergency crews were called to the scene at 1195 Ruby Lane around noon.
Small Plane Crash Kills 2 in Washington County
Several 911 calls were placed by neighbors reporting what sounded like a small explosion. Deputies arrived and located the small aircraft fully engulfed in flames in the yard of a home near the attached garage.
2 Different Plane Incidents in Anoka County Saturday
Two pilots were able to escape serious injury after separate aircraft incidents Saturday in Anoka County.The first incident happened in Blaine around 2 p.m. when a pilot flying a Cessna 172 aircraft began experiencing low oil pressure.
2 Dead After Airplane Crashes in Woods Near Duluth
Crews were called to the 8300 block of Pequaywan Lake Road, about 25 miles north of Duluth in an unorganized township after the US Air Force received an aircraft beacon alarm. A spotter plane in the area observed possible wreckage on the ground and guided deputies to the location. Upon arrival, deputies found both the pilot and the passenger deceased.
Man Dies, Another Injured After Small Plane Crash Near Hutchinson, Minn.
One man is dead and another is injured after a small plane crashed into a field south of Hutchinson on Monday afternoon. Around 1:00 p.m., the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call for a plane that had crashed into a field in the area of 145th Street and Plum Avenue in Hassan Valley Township.
