According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2009 Chevy Impala was traveling in the right lane when it spun out on ice and slid across all lanes of traffic. A semi-truck traveling in the left lane then collided with the driver's side of the Impala.

A 17-year-old male was killed, and a 19-year-old male was critically injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in Saint Cloud.

Law enforcement responded to a 911 call shortly before 10 a.m., finding the deceased man near the 1300 block of Ravenna Trail, east of a bridge crossing the Vermillion River.

Officers were called to the 6800 block of Humboldt Avenue at 10:22 p.m. on Jan. 30 after reports of an unconscious male. After they arrived, officers attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to court records, officers found the 52-year-old victim dead in her apartment on Park Meadows Drive in Waite Park after being called for a welfare check.

Authorities say Kyle Stewart Vanwert, 39, was suspected of selling drugs, with active warrants for fleeing police in a motor vehicle and first-degree burglary in Hennepin County.
