According to a criminal complaint filed in Wright County, Rodney Allen Andersen, 85, called 911 at about 9:54 a.m., telling dispatchers that he had stabbed his wife and placed the knife in the sink. He was unsure if she was still alive.

Six Hurt After Ambulance Crash Near Buffalo
The EMT driving the ambulance reported they were involved in the crash around 6:45 p.m. July 6, near the intersection of County Road 34 NW and Eaken Ave. NW. in Buffalo Township. The ambulance crew was transporting an individual who was hurt in a previous crash and was en route to the hospital without using emergency lights or sirens.
CHARGES: Man Killed Co-Worker with AR-15 Outside Wright County Business
According to the criminal complaint, on March 20, 2023, just after noon, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls about a shooting that just occurred know the parking lot of a business. Officers responded to Dura Supreme, located at 300 Dura Drive in Howard Lake and located a man deceased in the driver’s seat of a truck in the parking lot. The victim was identified as 20-year-old Adrian Mantano Medina.
Wright County Deputies Fatally Shoot Man Wielding Knife in Otsego
Deputies with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office fatally shot a man early Sunday morning after he reportedly fled from a residence while armed with a knife in Otsego. According to a media release from the sheriff’s office, deputies were called at 12:52 a.m. to the 12000 block of 72nd Court Northeast in Otsego. A caller had reported that a man was threatening physical harm to his family and himself.
Man Dies After Being Struck in Driveway by Wright County Deputy
On December 23, 2021, at approximately 7 p.m., a deputy with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office was responding to a medical for a person that had possibly fallen down outside. According to a media release, the deputy arrived on the scene and did not see the victim on the ground in the un-lit driveway. The deputy pulled in and made contact with the victim at slow speed and rendered medical assistance before the victim was transported to Maple Grove Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Suspect Dead After Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound Following Shooting, High-Speed Chase
A suspect died by suicide following a shooting in St. Cloud and a high-speed police chase on I-94 in Wright County on Monday afternoon.
St. Cloud Police responded to a shooting in a parking lot in the 1000 block of 5th Avenue South. Officers located a 20-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance in serious condition. St. Cloud Officers gathered suspect information and relayed it to other nearby agencies.
